Chau – Putney Backlit Glass Feature Lightbox for  Entrance

Our customer commissioned the construction of an enormous entry feature for their Putney waterfront home.

The feature consisted on a 5m tall by 1.5m wide steel lightbox frame that was fixed to the wall.

The feature was finished in 20mm thick translucent travertine that was illuminated from behind with a series of led strip lights.

Travertine is a beautiful natural stone product that has veins and imperfections, however these imperfections led to the entire fascia falling to the floor.

The client approached us and asked if we could use the existing light box and recreate a beautiful back lit entry feature for their home.

With a limited brief our designers worked with the client to create a stunning entry feature that compliments the existing décor and property.
